I've got the Pioneer dub of Akira and it's pretty good, despite some Japanese/English translations. I really love Last Exile and Wolf's Rain. I almost got into Digimon, but I never got any time to watch the show. I've only seen a few episodes. You were a great voice actor and I'm sorry that you've retired from the business. I'd like to try anime voiceovers sometime in the future, since I like anime. Funimation Productions is in Fort Worth and Flower Mound, TX. I live in Minden, LA. Anyway, I just wanted to say congratulations on a successful career as a voice actor and a hypnotist. Always do what you love to do. Take care, God bless you, and I wish you much success in the many achievements ahead.

I just rewatched "Wolf's Rain" a second time and was once again blown away by your acting performance as Hige (my favorite character in the show by the way), as did I greatly enjoy your portrayal of Tetsuo in the new dub of "Akira." I too understand your decision to leave the life of a voice actor behind. Being a stage actor I understand the rush which the immediate feedback of an audience's applause can bring. As long as your career as a stage hypnotist is what you love to do, pursuing it is the best thing you can do. Good choice on SB by the way. I'm currently at UCSB, and we had a stage hypnotist last night who was okay but his show was nothing like the reviews I've read and the videos I've seen of your routine. If you're ever in the Santa Barbara area again, we would be more than happy to have you. Good luck!

Just a brief word of appreciation for the input you made on what is now one of my favourite feature films AKIRA, as well as one of my childhood passions Digimon (I'm only eighteen- it's acceptable). I've always been rather torn between the classic and pioneer versions of the AKIRA film, with varied opinions on music and presentation, but your performance with Tetsuo has led me to choose that above the previous release. Even when reading the original books I just consider that voice work to be 'Tetsuo's voice' and a permanent part of one of my favourite characters.
Plus few things are funnier than hearing the voice of Tai swearing, but that's an unrelated matter.
Glad I came across the video and I should hope you perform a show here in the UK at some point so I might attend, just wanted to share my thanks for the hard work and excellent results. I might just have to stick on AKIRA for a dose of nostalgic delight.

I've been a fan of yours for years, your the first voice actor i could actually remember and recognize by just listening to you in your roles. You were an awesome voice actor and a pivotal person to the american anime industry, it wouldnt have taken off at all if you hadnt been around. But im glad your doing something you enjoy, and you had to quit sometime, so thanks for your six years of hard work, and getting me into something that i truly enjoy and will share with my kids someday, anime.
